English name

  英语四级作文题目:

Do Dieu Linh from Hanoi in Vietnam and Hue Lee from Bokeo province in Laos, are postgraduates at Xi'an Jiaotong University, who have both been relishing their new lives in China.

  写作:

Where are u from

I come from the capital of China - Beijing. It's also the cultural and political centre in China. Its history can date back to Ming Dynasty - that is more than six hundreds years ago. I mean, since then it has been the capital. There are lot of cultural heritage, which I m so proud of.

I love my city. It's my birth place. But I'd been through all its changes. I really hate the way it looks now. The hustle and bustle, the selfish and indifference of people, the lack of resources, you know, every hour is rush hour. It didn't and it shouldn't had looked like this.

威澳门尼斯人官网,People don't protect environment. They don't even care about it. One day I picked up a plastic bag and threw it into the bin. My college mate asked me, "Wow! u r so nice. Do u do it all the time?" I was like, what? isn't it a normal thing? u should feel wired if I don't do so. So I want to do something, but I feel powerless.

Suppose a foreign friend of yours is coming to visit your hometown, what is the most interesting place you would like to take him/her to see and why?

Like increasing numbers of overseas students coming to study in China, Linh and Lee had to adapt to a few new things when they first arrived to study in 2016. Both say that experiencing Chinese culture was the main attraction for them to come to China.

Suppose a foreign friend of yours in coming to visit your hometown/campus/China. What is the place would you show him or her and why?

When could u do when u were younger that u cannot do now?

If I were a young girl, I would climb trees. Are u astonished? Because actually I was very good at climbing things when I was very young, before 12 years old. But I can't do it now. I have lost this ability for no reason. I want it back deadly. So I would erect a long pillar, as high as possible, and climb it to the very top, maybe create some world records! Cuz you know human beings don't have wings, we cannot fly. So how do we get to high places by ourselves? We climb. May it's out of an instinct.

  英语四级作文参考范文:

As an undergraduate student back in Vietnam, Linh taught Chinese students Vietnamese. "My Chinese friends told me a lot about Chinese culture which really made me interested in coming to study in China," she says.

As one of the most bewitching and international cities in China, I strongly recommend you, my dearest friends, to pay a visit to my hometown—-Beijing. It is the capital of China for several dynasties over a long period. In the meantime, it has now evolved into the political, cultural and educational center. There are many places of interests here in Beijing, among which the Summer Palace is the most interesting attraction。

When do people usually get married in ur country?

I guess approximately, the average age when people get married is 24 in China. But in urban area, there is a tendency among young people to get married around thirty. Some of them are just too busy to meet new friends, others are actually not willing to get settled from inside. Because the incidence of divorce is getting high, more and more young people don't believe in love. And because of the one-child policy, young adults are mostly selfish. Few of them know that marriage is about sacrifice.

I like to take him to visit to Beijing ,the capital city of China. Beijing is steeped in culture ,with a history of 3000 years .There are loads of monuments, in Beijing , like the fobidden city, the great wall and the summer palace . I am totally fascinated by its culture 。

As for Lee, he has long been a fan of Chinese kung fu. "I watched the movies of Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Actually, Chinese kung fu is the reason why I chose to study here," Lee says.

The Summer Palace is situated in the western outskirts of Beijing, and it is one of the most classical gardens in China, which enjoys a worldwide reputation. The most alluring scenery is Kunming Lake, with an exquisite building in the middle, and it involves three parts which are mainly used as the ancient empress’s living quarter。

When do people usually learn to drive in ur country?

Well, that depends. The rich are able to afford to cars. So their children may learn a driving license just on graduation from high school, when they are legally adults. But for the poor, car is still a luxury. Many people have never touched one steering wheel themselves. What a pity.

I went to Beijing when I was in my primary school ,but it did not leave me a deep impression . Because I was too young to understand the Chinese historical culture and it was difficult for a littlechild to be interested in it. I just felt the weather in Beijing was hot ,also very dry and the roast duck was really delicious. But now I regret for not learning the knowledge of cultural heritages in Bejing at that time.I am planning to study abroad and I want to introduce a lot of interesting Chinese culture to foreigners . But in fact I do not know it clearly ,even many foreigners know more things about Beijing than I know . It makes me feel kind of embarrassed。

While studying in China, they have had the chance to travel and see some of the country's wonders, such as the Terracotta Warriors and Huashan Mountain.

I’m sure you can definitely experience the characteristic and traditional culture of China. Hope you could enjoy your trip!

So I am looking forward to paying a visit to Beijing and looking around all the monuments in Beijing . I hope I can learn some valuable things about chinese history. Then I can recommend this city to my foreign friends . It is not a city only full of skyscrapers, but also an ancient capital filled with time-honored traditions 。

"China is such a vast country. There are so many cities I have never even set foot in. Both Beijing and Xi'an are cities with a long history. I have plans to visit Beijing," says Lee.

However, it's not all been holidays and plain sailing. At first, they found it difficult to get used to Xi'an's climate, which is considerably colder than their home countries. Food was another issue.

As with anyone who moves to a new country, the first few weeks can be the toughest, prompting many to consider returning home. Those who stick it out, however, are often rewarded.

Linh was lucky, finding comfort and help from her teachers and classmates at Xi'an Jiaotong University.

"The Chinese teachers have shown a lot of concern for us foreign students. They often contacted me and asked me if I had any difficulties," says Linh.

"We have become good friends. They even invited me and my classmates to their homes. My Chinese was poor, but my classmates were tolerant and helped me out a lot."

Things are becoming easier and easier for Lee, especially the change of food. "People in Laos prefer soups, and when young people get together, they would share beers," Lee says. "But it's OK; now roujiamo (meat burger) is my favorite."

Asked about their impression of China after a year of study, both answered immediately. "The Chinese are warm and friendly," Linh says. "Since my first day in China, their friendliness and concern for foreigners impressed me a great deal."

When it comes to the future, they have different ideas. Lee plans to return to his homeland to find work as a computer engineer, but Linh plans to stay on in China.

"The Vietnamese and Chinese don't really know each other very well, so I want to become a messenger. My dream is to build a bridge between China and Vietnam. I believe we will know each other much better in the future."

From Nov 12 to 14, President Xi Jinping made a state visit to Vietnam and Laos, after attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Vietnam's Da Nang on Nov 10 and 11. The news made Linh and Lee happy.

"Laos and China are old friends," says Lee. "Our friendship has a firm foundation. There are many Chinese working in Laos, and this has brought about great development in my country's economy."

Last year, China started construction of a high-speed railway from Yunnan province to Vientiane, the Laos capital.

Linh says that the relationship between Vietnam and China is important. She also hopes that more Vietnamese will learn more about the country from her "Chinese story".
